Looking for the perfect vegetable side dish on your Primo? Roasted Carrots with an Agave Orange Glaze may be it. Peel and prepare the carrots.
Mix up the glaze – use this rough ratio to match your carrot count.
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 Tablespoons Agave Nectar
- Zest and juice of an orange
- Pinch of kosher salt and cracked black pepper
Prepare the Primo. You could certainly grill the carrots over direct heat but we find roasting them with the deflector plate in at 400 degrees or so is the way to go. This allows the carrots to become tender and caramelized as they would in an oven.
Coat the carrots with half of the glaze. Roast until tender, turning at least once. Brush on remaining glaze as they finish.
